1 year after - JAPAN
I saw a certain set of photos on Yahoo's home page. The photos I saw left me shocked, surprised, awed & what not.
A year ago, certain parts of Japan were hit by the Tsunami & an Earthquake. Almost the entire world knew instantly the disaster that hit Japan. Even there were reports of nuclear accidents due to the tsunami. But when I saw the photographs of their recovery, it totally surprised me.
These people are actually determined & hardworking. The drastic changes that occurred, as obvious by the photos, would occur only if there is a total sync between the Government of particular country & their subjects. This is totally lacking in India & present in abundance in Japan. During such a disaster, with heavy losses of human lives, property & economy, these changes which I saw in the photographs were surprisingly pleasant.
Hope people of India learn something from this.
A human mind, no matter whether that mind is of a Japanese, Indian, American or of anybody belonging to any country, race, religion or caste has an inherent ability to do enumerable positive things. Only determination & hard work is required. This was exactly what the Japanese did.
We Indians are no doubt hardworking, intelligent & determined. But most Indians, basically utilize their time doing nothing. Most Indians are busy blaming the Government & the Government busy bribing & doing stupid things. If only there would be a little understanding & sync between the public & the Government, things would have been different.
Hope some positive things happen in the future for India. Only a change of attitude is required.
