My Views - My Right to Expression

There is a lot happening these days. And there was a lot happening since many months.

Last year Modi was much in great news. He brought his wave and named it the Modi wave. This year Kejriwal won in Delhi with a stunning majority and thus he was known to bring the Tsumani. Good, after a year Delhi got a good and a stable government.

The budget for the year 2015 -2016 has been declared. And some things that I have heard from my sister and my mother about the budget, it seems to be a good one. Better then the one that has been declared in the past years by the Congress government.

Rahul Gandhi has absconded (and now he has proven himself to be an absolute imbecile). Everyone is speculating about his whereabouts. It seems, he is practicing a tactic which he frequently worked out when he was kid - emotionally blackmailing his mother in some or the other way to get his work done.

But apart from politics, there is something else which has made news this year. AIB roast. Somehow or the other - everybody needs to understand that its just a show. If you know the contents of the show before hand, to watch the show or not becomes the viewers choice. And once you know the content of a show like AIB Roast - one can clearly decide for or against watching it. But I really do not know how one can support Aamir Khan's views on AIB Roast which are not for the show. I have seen that video on Aamir Khan's view's that such shows which pass comments on somebody's color or sexuality should not be aired. I really cannot understand how come he feels bad about speech, ideas or thoughts which are expressed in such shows. He has always expressed his viewpoints as per his liking. His movies have had speech which were not that goody goody, his movies had scenes which were again not so goody goody. Even his movie PK - his posters which were released before the movie showed himself to be a naked person with his private parts covered with a radio. People objected about such a poster and the supreme court said that if everything in the movies would be objected then there would never be true art and creativity would never be expressed. And hence the objection over the poster was nullified. People saw the movie, liked it, some objected it, but whatever the opinion the show became a hit. For the AIB roast too, it was an intentionally made show aimed towards those who voluntarily participated with free will in the show. Hence people who are not interested should not watch it.

One of my friends posted a video featuring Deepika Padukone, named my "My Choice' on his Facebook page. And its quiet surprising to read his and his friends views of the video. The main theme of the video is on feminine sex and their right to do their mind. There is a lot of difference between what one actually thinks should happen and what actually happens. For e.g. I strongly think that rapes should not occur but they do occur. I also strongly feel that do generalize the entire male clan to be bad because so stupid imbecile committed a useless act. But what I strongly feel does not occur practically in real life.

'Women Empowerment' is a concept which needs to be practiced and just not discussed. Enough discussions have already occurred. And to clearly say for a strong society both the sexes and all age groups need to be empowered and not just the feminine sex. So a video on women empowerment featuring Deepika Padukone is made, in which she says that she would have sex outside marriage does not mean that the actual thing might happen in reality and that does not mean that Women Empowerment has reached the lowest standards. I don't think that the video was meaningless and also women agreeing to what she said in the video have low standards.

I have loads to express on loads of happenings around me, but probably in the next post.

By the way, I was disheartened that India lost in the semi final against Australia. But better luck next time. Till the next time  - CHOW.
