Independence - Today's Women - A1 or Under-bitches

Different but thoda ajeeb aur hatke title hai, right? But then I deliberately chose this title. 

Just a few days back the verdict for Nirbhaya rape case came into effective. I chose not read the court decision which was printed in the newspapers & I don't like watching television. But, it seems, from the talks which reached my ears that the accused were punished. This verdict has come few months after the incident occurred. 

From the day when the incident occurred to till date, there were plenty of rape cases printed in news papers with the famous Mumbai's Shakti Mill gang rape case. I just stopped reading, because I am tired & literally bored.

When will such acts stop? Really, stop completely. Yes there have been a lot of discussions everywhere. But nothing has changed. That leads me to think that are we really independent?

Now to tell you that, especially to women, pls stop blaming the masculine sex. Pls, a request to the feminine community that don't get me wrong. I have a lot of things to say & so do not get me wrong on just 1 sentence.

1st to tell that the people who raped Nirbhaya, who raped the photojournalist at Shakti Mills & all the other girls whose cases got reported or not, I want to say that they are not Human Beings at all. So pls stop blaming the rest of the masculine community.

2nd - To the women community, start respecting your own sex's community. There is a famous saying in Hindi that 'Ek Aurat Hi Aurat ki Dushman Hoti Hai'. This saying is correct in almost all conditions, say, 95% cases. Mother-in-law's can never tolerate the daughter-in-law's well being in most cases & always will side her son in almost all conditions even wrong. She will appreciate non-specific things in masculine sex but will give significant nicely done things a total miss for her daughter-in-law. She will keep comparing her past sad life with the current completely blissful life of her daughter-in-law & will ensure that her daughter-in-law's life will become a total hell. Now how can you blame the masculine sex when women are bent upon to trouble their own community. 

3rd - Why to blame the in-law factors? Indian mother's too tend to groom their daughters in a very funny manner. They want their daughter's to learn almost everything from sweeping swabbing to cooking to grooming to having extra talents to taking the biggest & highest degree & also practice your profession with good amount of money & at the highest post. An impossible fact, but it exists. If you fall below the expectations of your direct family members you are considered to be incompetent. In any way, if the in-laws complain to the parents after the daughter is married, then hard times for the daughter have started. The mother-in-law gets some sadistic pleasure in complaining about the incompetent daughter-in-law & even the parents actively participate in shunning of their own daughter. Not all girls get support from their own parents & divorce cases are in rise. 

4rth - For people living in harder conditions, it is observed that most of the pimps are females & they allure small innocent girls in the dirty world of prostitution.

5th - Today I went to see a patient in the OBGY ward. It turned out that the patient's baby was born prematurely at 7 months & was admitted in the NICU. One of the hospital requirements for baby care included that a full time attendant is required. Now it so happened that the patients mother & the child's grandmother wore a 9 yard saree & did not want to change to hospital dress & hence did not want to stay with the baby. There is such a lot of difference in lifestyles of different class of women in India. Some women, because of their cultural upbringing have a different attitude & shy in wearing a hospital dress & some women no matter what age wear dresses of their liking no matter how short. 

6th - It is always an unwritten rule that in case there are 2 males in group & if the group has to commute to a certain place, the males will be seated in the front seat & the females readily take the back seat.

This will go on & on. How women are their own enemies, just start thinking & you will  get more examples.

A female should carry herself with dignity & she should command not demand respect. There would be many reasons why these rape's occurred but there are some obvious ones & females need to take precautions.

1. Keep a good friend circle (especially young women but nobody is exempted) who can accompany you at any time.
2. Even in groups do not enter certain areas which appear high risk. Shakti mills, a bus on a highway with nobody in it are common examples. Other high risk areas need to be identified & avoided. Why such precautions need to be taken is because no one knows what kind of mishaps occur how & when. Careful is the only appropriate word.
3. Even when in a group youngsters need to keep their parents informed. Relation between the parents & their kids need to be healthy & strong. Many kids cannot express to their parents because of some particular parental trait & this is when the main problems start. All the kids, whenever & wherever they are going, keep the parents informed. This saves everybody a lot of trouble.
4. Do not react in a particular emotion. All the actions displayed should be well thought of.
5. I know the feminine sex will again oppose me but ladies should dress in sync with the occasion & their occupation. If a lady is a doctor & will go to treat a patient in a male ward wearing revealing clothes, she is definitely going to attract negative male attention. If the same revealing lady has to travel to a particular destination by Mumbai local train & lands up at Kurla station, then just imagine what her plight will be if she is stuck on a FOB at peak hours. Yes, but if she goes to a disc wearing a burkha & dances wearing it - then it is weird. Hence dress according to the situation to evade the low class monkeys.
6. What precautions have to be followed in a disc - I guess everybody knows.
7. Garam Khoon Syndrome- Yes it literally means hot blood syndrome & needs some sort of treatment. Youngsters - Public display of emotions are strictly prohibited. You cannot expect a rickshaw / taxi wala to close his eyes & drive. There is something called a rear view mirror which is specially provided to see things at the rear, especially cars & your exciting displays are obstructing his view & also increasing his own excitement. You cannot expect a male of a rickshaw / taxi wala caliber to be some Sant Atma. If one of them turns out to be notorious then don't blame anybody. It was the girl who choose to be allowed to be touched in a public space. And when some untoward thing happens the feminine sex will shout in sync we will do what we want, males close their eyes & stop reacting. Ladies - command respect.
8. Ladies - learn martial arts & swimming & know about your rights. 

In spite of precautions some male approaches you in a wrong manner - there should be a proper display of what woman power is.

Hence to all ladies, live with dignity & react appropriately according to the situation. Its up to the women to be A1 or be treated as under-bitches. Independence is just not about wearing modern westernized dresses, its about knowing one's rights & working for the well being of the society.
