Reality Check

My husband got irritated when he saw my way of handling documents, especially my certificates. All of them are with my mother, who keeps them & I take them from her. My husband says, stop being dependent on them. That is why you are so slow in your work & take time to complete your work. Stop troubling them at least keeping their age in mind.

I happened to read the article 'Speaking Tree' in the Times Of India today which happened to be on the same topic. Hence I am here, writing this article on my blog.

Parents send their children to schools, colleges & educational institutes. These places give them degrees, whilst giving them knowledge. But the actual understanding of what life is not acquired from these places. Children are becoming  increasing selfish & self centered. Parents give them every comfort they can provide within their capacity, apart from all the long unwanted advices which includes a list of do's & don'ts. They just have to make the children aware about the reality of life which very few parents do. So when the children face the real life situations, it is hard to believe & hence to face such situations. They face difficulties every time.

What the parents need to do apart from sending them to good educational institutes is that teach them some reality. They should spend time & also contribute to the child's development in a positive manner. Certain aspects can be learnt from the parents only & nobody else. Children will have to learn certain things that can be acquired from the parents only. Hope parents could be able to spend such time with their children.

Apart from the above mentioned topic I also will be mentioning about the public protest which I also would be joining, on 12th August. This protest is against all the taxi & rickshaw walas who always say a no to passengers & as their meter's are tampered most of the times, the public ends up paying more most of the times.

These people protested against the low prices. So all these taxi & rickshaw walas protested for the hike in basic fare. They did not work for one entire day. This caused inconvenience to many commuters who travel for hours all over Mumbai to go their work places. This inconvenience was not noticed by these people. When the basic scale increased, still they reject the passengers. Hence a group of three people came & started a organization called meter down. I joined their site & hence would also protest against these so called taxi & rickshaw walas.

After this protest, hope this people will realize their actions when they will not earn that day. So all people, support the cause on 12th August. If this happens in a mass scale, the impact would be correct, hitting the bull's eye.
