Being Indian

It took a few days for me to find a topic to write on the blog.

I shifted my residence recently. Whilst shifting, I happened to find a book of my husband. The book is named as BEING INDIAN by Pavan Verma.

Mr. Pavan Verma has written this book very beautifully. The entire concept of the book is very unique. In fact, the book expresses its subdivisions very practically & describes the real India & the actual Indians & Indian mentality. The reality, present & its relation with the past & spirituality.

I am reading this book pretty late as this book was written in 2004 but thank god that I read it before I died.

Many people, usually who tried a lot of things & could do nothing, but still think that they did so many things always blame India & the system, usually the political first & then the others about their failures. They always say about the negativity of their motherland, India.

This book is for all the people who fail to see what is already present since many years.

The author has put fuel to the fire burning in me. Whoever has read this book will have no doubt about his knowledge, righting abilities & research skills. And no doubt he is very very clear about his concept & ideas. But what is so special about this book that, Mr. Varma has practically entered every Indians mind & written things so correctly, every Indian would agree & practically would be living it everyday.

It is fun reading this book. Very innovative & good.

Mr. Varma has done, what every Indian has done & will keep doing. After all he too is an Indian.

He has presented the already existing facts in a very new manner. We all knew the fact written by him but who actually thinks this way. After we read what has been presented in this book, we realize that what we already know these facts. Then we say "Hayla, yeh to mujhe pata tha."

So, whoever has not read this book, kindly read, think over it, refresh your memory & do things which ought to be done. And hope people will stop the blame game.

I am proud of the fact that, some Indian, has analyzed the Indian scenario very beautifully & practically & presented the facts very neatly. The book has polished my way of thinking.

Governments have changed, Ministers changed but the book is well ahead of time.
