Cannot even imagine

I saw National Geographic channel a few days ago. They were showing a program called TABOO. In this program they show certain issues which are considered bad by general public or not accepted as a part of routine culture. Issues involving Trans genders, bull fighting eventually killing the bull, piercing different body parts or hitting own self or the partner to earn money etc etc. They show good issues that not only makes us aware about what is going in around the world but these events & facts actually stunned me.

But what I want to say here or rather describe here is a similar story which they showed on this particular program.

They showed about a particular species of fish which Japanese people eat. Now this fish type is known to be toxic & the toxin as described by them is even deadlier then the cyanide poison, means how fast it will cause death if consumed by humans is yet to be seen. But there are lots of annual deaths reported due to consumption of these fish. Now the stunning thing is this particular type of fish is still caught in large numbers, the chefs who are trained to cook this fish actually remove the toxic organs from the fish, wash it thoroughly, cut the eatable parts & the skin & serve the customers who come to the hotels were this fish is served. The fish is served with its soup. Vow, people still come to consume this fish, pay a large amount to eat it & after they finish consuming it they thank god that they are alive. What an irony, people either eat to live or live to eat but some people eat & pray god that thank god that they are alive & not dead due to their food.

Now another stunning fact is that certain countries of the world eat dog as their food. I cannot imagine eating dog in any part of my diet or any time of life. All parts of the dog are cut & freshly prepared to be eaten.

Again one more fact is that certain countries eat reptiles including crocodiles & snakes, insects like cockroaches & even eat lizards. All the parts of crocodiles including its face & claws are eaten.

Now my point is that how can someone eat such animals. Their parts come in bulk & are sorted out & labelled accordingly. For e.g. a particular animals liver, kidneys, testes etc are grouped together & then sold for consumption. 2nd point is that, cannot man in general not mind their own business. They just encroach the territory of the other inhabitants of this world for the sole purpose of their personal recreation & liking. Then once the number of any particular species inhabitants goes down beyond a certain number, then again get together to save the so called endangered species. Ha ha ha. Man tries to destroy & then tries to save.

Such a time where man eats man, such people being called as cannibals, has come. With no animal existing in this world at some time in the future, global warming hitting the peak, with no vegetables also existing people in future would eat each other for surviving. Or rather a time like they showed in AVATAR, where man would have to find another planet to live encroaching their land too (man has always been selfish, would come. Anything could be possible.
